nite nite

Goodnight Harry.  Goodnight moon. Goodnight almost empty white wine bottle in the room.*HICCUP* Goodnight Dumbledore.  Goodnight moon. Goodnight snuggly kitties falling asleep in the room.
That's my funny stab at plagiarized poetry for today. *HICCUP*..again.

You're a wizard Krispy!

I think I want to live in a castle, fly on a broom, have food magically appear on my plate and have a owl deliver my mail (saving me on stamps). Unless you live in a bubble, you know I'm talking about Harry Potter. I'm in my 30s (that's the best your getting) and I get unabashedly immersed in Harry's world everytime a new book or movie comes out. Seems like a good life to me. Learning to produce a patronus looks far more appealing than fractions. Of course, I cried over fractions and nearly made my teacher cry too, so perhaps not a fair comparison, but still. Granted, Harry has his knocks, but how many of us really has enemies as hell-bent on mass destruction as He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named? I have a few who come close, but I doubt they will take my soul. I don't think enough adults read kids' books because they seem unrealistic. I personally, like the escape and seeing these kids prevail and remind me of life's simple lessons-love, friends, bravery. Get out your tissues and 'corny stamp' now and stamp me now, dammit! I will believe in good or bad in a few hours time and in the spirit of goodness, promise not the stinkeye the annoying teens along the way. After that, it's fair game. Sorry kids.
